Patient identification, prohibited disclosures
State agencies and their workers are not allowed to share the list of medical marijuana cardholders with the federal government or outside parties. This covers people who applied for or received a patient card, cultivation card, or caregiver card. The only exception is if a court legally orders that information to be shared. Anyone who breaks this rule on purpose can be charged with a serious crime.
