Amount of tax

In plain English

Dog owners in Missouri pay a yearly tax to their county clerk. The tax is one dollar for male dogs and spayed female dogs (with proof from a vet or a signed statement from the owner). All other dogs cost three dollars a year. If someone runs a licensed kennel with more than ten dogs that are kept fenced in and not allowed to roam, they pay a flat ten dollars total for all their dogs.
