Applicability of law
People in a county can sign a petition with at least 100 voter signatures and give it to the county commission. The commission then puts a vote on the ballot asking if the county should have a dog license tax. If more than half the voters say yes, the commission records the result and publishes it in a local newspaper, and the dog license tax law starts on the day it is published.
273.170. Applicability of law — — . — 1.
