A group called the Missouri Animal Control Association, working with two state agencies, has to write reports for the governor and lawmakers. These reports track things like how long people wait on hold when reporting abuse, how many adults, kids, and animals were reported for abuse or neglect, and how often animal abuse and human abuse happened together in the same situation. The reports are due in late 2028 and again in 2029, and this whole law goes away after December 31, 2030.
