Oath of office

Anyone hired to work for the division must take an oath before starting work. That oath is a promise to support the U.S. and Missouri constitutions and to do their job honestly. People appointed to an office must give their full time to the job and are not allowed to serve on any political party committee.

Oath of office. — Each person appointed to office of by the shall, before entering upon his duties, take and to an to support the Constitution of the United States, and of this state, and to faithfully and honestly the duties of such office or employment. Each person appointed to office by the division shall give his whole time to his duties, nor shall he serve on any committee of any political .
