No fees for services of public officers
Government workers must give the workers' compensation commission free copies of any official papers they have on file. Those same government workers also cannot charge the commission any fees for handling, filing, or storing paperwork.
287.670. No fees for services of public officers. — Every public officer, without exacting a fee or charge therefor, shall furnish the or the , on , with a of any document, or part thereof, on file in his office, and no public officer shall be entitled to receive from the commission or the division any fee for entering, , or recording any document required or by law to be filed in his office.
