If someone breaks a rule in this chapter of Missouri law and the law does not already say what the punishment is, they can be charged with a misdemeanor. The punishment is a fine between $50 and $500, jail time between one week and one year, or both.
287.790. not specifically provided — . — Any person, , his or its , officers or agents, or any other person who violates any of the of this chapter for which a penalty has not herein been specifically provided, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and on thereof shall be punished by a of not less than fifty dollars nor more than five hundred dollars or by imprisonment in the county jail for not less than one week and not more than one year or both such fine and imprisonment.
