Retirement benefit plan exclusive, exception
There is one specific retirement plan for administrative law judges and legal advisors covered under this law, and no other retirement plan can pay them benefits based on that work. Any money that was paid into a different retirement system for these workers had to be moved into this plan's special account as of August 13, 1984. Social Security is not affected by these rules.
