Life insurance benefits
The board sets up life insurance for people covered under this part of the law. Those people are treated like state employees for the purpose of getting life insurance. The amount of life insurance they get is based on how long they have worked and earned credit.
287.850. Life insurance benefits. — The shall provide or contract for life insurance benefits under the of section 104.515 for persons covered by sections 287.812 to 287.855 who, for the purpose of that section, shall be considered members of the with the amount of life insurance benefits based on the of the person as provided in section 104.515.
