Maximum weekly benefit amount defined
This law sets the most money a worker can get each week from unemployment benefits in Missouri. The amount is based on 4% of what the worker earned during their best earning period. There are caps: no more than $250/week in 2004–2005, $270 in 2006, $280 in 2007, and $320 from 2008 onward. If the math comes out to a number with cents, it gets rounded down to the nearest whole dollar.
