Unemployment compensation administration fund, administration and disbursement
Missouri set up a special government bank account called the Unemployment Compensation Administration Fund. Money in this account is only used to pay for running the unemployment system — nothing else. The account gets money from the state, the federal government, and other sources. A state treasurer is responsible for handling the money properly. A small portion of the money can also be set aside in petty cash accounts to cover small, everyday expenses for running local offices.
