Fraud or misrepresentation, penalties

If someone commits fraud or lies to get benefits under this law, they can be charged with a class A misdemeanor and also have to pay back up to the full amount of the fraud. If that same person has already been caught committing fraud under this law before and does it again, the charge becomes a class E felony, which is more serious.
