Transferors of interest in motor vehicles or trailers, notice to revenue, when, form

Random law
In plain English

When someone sells or gives away a car or trailer that has a Missouri title, they have to tell the Missouri Department of Revenue about it within 30 days. They report things like who sold it, who bought it, the vehicle number, the sale date, and the price. Some transfers don't need this notice — like sales between car dealers, transfers to insurance companies after theft or accident, or when a court orders who gets the vehicle.
