Combat infantryman special license plates

A person who was awarded the combat infantry badge can get special license plates that say 'COMBAT INFANTRYMAN' and show the badge image. The plates have a white background with blue and red colors. There is an extra fee, same as personalized plates. A person can get as many sets as they want, as long as each set goes on a vehicle they own. If the plate holder dies, a co-owner of the vehicle can keep using the plates until the registration year ends.

301.445. Combat infantryman special plates — license how marked — required — fee. — Any person who has been awarded the may apply for special motor vehicle license plates for any vehicle such person owns, either solely or jointly, for either to passenger motor vehicles subject to the provided in section 301.055, or for a licensed for a not in excess of twenty-four thousand as provided in section 301.057. Any such person shall make application for the special license plates on a form provided by the and furnish such proof as a of the combat infantry badge as the may require. The director shall then license plates bearing the words "COMBAT INFANTRYMAN" in place of the words "SHOW-ME STATE" in a form prescribed by the director, except that such license plates shall be made with , shall have a white background with a blue and red at the of the director, shall be clearly visible at night, and shall be aesthetically attractive, as prescribed by section 301.130. Such plates shall also bear an image of the combat infantry badge. There shall be an additional fee charged for each set of special combat infantry badge license plates issued equal to the fee charged for in section 301.144. There shall be no limit on the number of license plates any person qualified under this section may obtain so long as each set of license plates issued under this section is issued for vehicles owned solely or jointly by such person. License plates issued the of this section shall not be to any other person except that any of the motor vehicle shall be entitled to operate the motor vehicle with such plates for the duration of the year licensed in the event of the death of the qualified person.
