Missouri 4-H special license plate, application, fee

A person who is a member or former member of Missouri 4-H, or whose child is a member, can get special Missouri 4-H license plates for any car or truck they own (as long as it is not a heavy commercial vehicle over 24,000 pounds). There is a $15 extra fee, and the plates say "MISSOURI 4-H" and show the 4-H emblem. There is no extra charge to personalize the plates, and a person can get as many sets as they have qualifying vehicles.

301.481. Missouri 4-H special , , fee. — Any person who is a member or a former member or whose child is a member of the Missouri 4-H may apply for motor vehicle license plates for any motor vehicle such person owns, either solely or jointly, other than a commercial or d in excess of twenty-four thousand . Any such person shall make application for the license plates on a form provided by the and furnish such as a member or member's parent of the Missouri 4-H as the may require. Upon payment of a fifteen dollar fee, presentation of all documents and payment of all other fees required by law, the director shall license plates bearing or numbers or a combination thereof as determined by the established in section 301.129*, with the words "MISSOURI 4-H" in place of the words "SHOW-ME STATE". Such license plates shall be made with with a common color scheme and design, shall be clearly visible at night, and shall be aesthetically attractive, as prescribed by section 301.130. Such s shall also bear an image of the Missouri 4-H . No additional fee shall be charged for of plates issued this section. There shall be no limit on the number of plates any person qualified under this section may obtain so long as each set of license plates issued under this section is issued for vehicles owned solely or jointly by such person. License plates issued under this section shall not be to any other person except that any of the motor vehicle may operate the motor vehicle for the duration of the year licensed in the event of the death of the qualified person.
