Anyone who runs a public car auction must put up two signs where people can easily see them. Each sign has to be at least two feet by two feet, with letters at least six inches tall, saying that the cars sold there may not have been safety inspected.
301.561. required at . — Any person or holding a public motor vehicle auction shall display in a manner two signs each of which shall bear the following warning in at least six inches high: "Attention Buyers: Vehicles sold at this auction may not have had a safety inspection." The dimensions of each sign shall be at least two feet by two feet.
