Definitions
This section explains what certain words mean when used in the laws about motorcycle rider training. A 'motorcycle' means a motorcycle or three-wheeled motorcycle. An 'instructor' is a licensed motorcycle rider who is approved to teach the training course. The 'motorcycle rider training course' is a program approved by the state that teaches people the knowledge and skills needed to ride a motorcycle safely.
302.133. Definitions. — As used in sections 302.133 to 302.138, the following terms mean:

(4) "Instructor", a licensed motorcycle who meets the standards established by the commission to teach the motorcycle rider training course;
(5) "Motorcycle", a motorcycle or as those terms are defined by section 301.010;
(6) "Motorcycle rider training course", a motorcycle rider education and system approved by the commission as meeting standards designed to develop and instill the knowledge, attitudes, habits, and skills necessary for the safe operation of a motorcycle.
