The state can work with schools or other groups to offer motorcycle safety training classes. Those classes can charge a fee. When someone finishes the class, they get a certificate and a sticker goes on their driver's license to show they completed it.

The may enter into contracts with public or private institutions or organizations for technical assistance in conducting motorcycle rider training courses and instructor training courses if they are administered and taught in accordance with standards established by the commission.

3. The shall issue certificates of completion in the manner and form prescribed by the commission to persons who satisfactorily complete the requirements of the state-approved course. Completion of the course shall be indicated upon the person's driver's license. A sticker or other evidence of completion shall be issued for the license until the license is subsequently renewed.
