Instruction permit, fee
To get an instruction permit in Missouri, a person fills out a form from the director and pays a $1 fee. If the permit is for a motorcycle, the person also pays an extra $2.75 fee for motorcycle safety education.
302.140. , fee. — 1. Every for an instruction permit shall be made upon a form furnished by the , which application shall be by the to be true and correct, and every such application shall be accompanied by a fee of one dollar.
2. In addition to the fee prescribed in 1 of this section, applicants for a motorcycle instruction permit under section 302.132 shall pay a special motorcycle safety education fee of two dollars and seventy-five cents.
