Fraud in obtaining a license or permit, penalty

In plain English

If someone cheats, lies, or uses fake information to get a driver's license or permit — or helps someone else do that — it is a crime. The person applying cannot get a license for one year after being found guilty. Anyone who helped them cheat loses their own driver's license for one year too.

302.233. in obtaining a or , . — 1. , any person who commits or assists another individual in committing fraud or deception during any examination required by sections 302.010 to 302.782, or who conceals a or provides which contains or is substantiated with false or information or documentation, or otherwise commits a fraud in an for an , driver's license, , or or permit is guilty of a .
