Moving traffic violation, failure to prepay fine or appear in court, license suspended, procedure
If someone in Missouri gets a moving traffic ticket and does not pay it or show up to court, the court sends them a letter saying they have 30 days to take care of it. If they still do nothing, the court tells the state to suspend their driver's license right away. The license stays suspended until the charges are handled and any fines and court costs are paid. This rule does not apply to minor traffic violations.
