Failure to surrender licenses, certain law enforcement officer may seize

If someone does not turn in their driver's license or chauffeur's license when they are supposed to, the director can send a state highway patrol officer or other police officer to take the license away and bring it back to the director.

302.415. Failure to surrender s, certain may seize. — If a person shall or refuse to surrender all , as provided for in sections 302.400 and 302.405, the shall direct the state patrol or any peace or police officer to secure possession thereof and such license or licenses to the director.
