If someone is found guilty of breaking section 577.599 (a law about ignition interlock devices), their driver's license gets taken away for one year. If they break that same law a second time while they are still required to use an ignition interlock device, their license gets taken away for five years. The court tells the DMV about the guilty finding. Before getting the license back, a person has to pay a fee. While the license is revoked under this law, a person cannot get a limited or restricted license to drive at all.
