Driver license compact

In plain English

This law explains how Missouri takes part in a multi-state agreement about driver's licenses. The governor speaks for Missouri in the agreement, and the Department of Revenue handles driver's license matters. If any Missouri court or agency takes away or limits someone's driver's license, that court or agency must report it to the Department of Revenue. The person who runs the compact for Missouri does not get extra pay for that role, but can be paid back for work-related expenses.
