Size and load restrictions not applicable to wreckers, tow trucks, rollbacks and car carriers, when

In plain English

Laws about how tall, wide, heavy, or long a vehicle can be do not apply to wreckers and tow trucks when they are doing towing work. If a broken-down or wrecked vehicle cannot be moved by a regular tow truck, a rollback or car carrier can also be used without following those size and weight rules, as long as the person using it is a real wrecker business owner or operator.
