Turns at intersection

In plain English

This law covers how drivers are supposed to turn at intersections. Right turns stay close to the right edge of the road. Left turns start from the far left lane and end in the correct lane on the new road. Traffic signs or signals can change these rules, and drivers must follow those signs. U-turns are not allowed at intersections with traffic lights or police officers. U-turns also cannot be done on curves, near the top of a hill, or anywhere a driver cannot be seen from 300 feet away in both directions. Breaking this law is a class C misdemeanor.
