Application of law
This law applies to every city, town, or village in Missouri, no matter how they were set up or what their local rules say. Local rules cannot override this law.
311.040. of law. — The of this law shall be in force in and apply to every incorporated city, town or village in this state, whether same be organized under the general law relating to cities, towns and villages, or by under the state constitution, any or of any city, town or village to the contrary .
