Sunday liquor sales by the drink, permitted when (St. Louis City, Kansas City)
In St. Louis City and Kansas City, certain bars and restaurants that already have a liquor-by-the-drink license can apply for a special Sunday license. That license lets them sell drinks on Sundays from 6:00 a.m. until 1:30 a.m. Monday morning. The business must also be in a resort area, convention trade area, or enterprise zone. The Sunday license costs $600 a year, but the price is adjusted if the license covers less than a full year.
311.089. Sunday liquor sales , permitted when (St. Louis City, Kansas City). — Any possessing or qualifying for a to sell in any , any with more than four hundred thousand inhabitants and located in more than one county and if such establishment is also located in a area, , or area, the establishment may apply for a Sunday by-the-drink license between the hours of 6:00 a.m. on Sundays and 1:30 a.m. on Mondays. The license fee for such Sunday by-the-drink license shall be six hundred dollars per year. The license fee shall be for the period of the license based on the cost of the annual license for the establishment.
