Boat or vessel, liquor sale by drink, requirements, fee
This law is about selling alcohol on boats. If a boat is licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard to carry 30 or more passengers for pay, and it has a regular docking spot in Missouri or within 200 yards of one, the owner can apply for a license to sell alcohol by the drink on that boat. The license stays good even when the boat leaves the dock. The license costs $300 per year.
*311.091. Boat or , liquor sale by drink, requirements, fee. — 1. Except as provided under 2 of this section and any other of this chapter to the contrary, any person who possesses the qualifications required by this chapter and who meets the requirements of and complies with the provisions of this chapter may apply for and the may a to sell , as defined in this chapter, of any boat, or other vessel licensed by the United States Coast Guard to carry thirty or more passengers for hire on in or adjacent to this state, which has a regular place of in a location in this state or within two hundred yards of a location which would otherwise be licensable under this chapter. The license shall be valid even though the boat, or other vessel, leaves its regular place of mooring during the course of its operation.
2. For every license for sale of for of any boat or other vessel issued under the provisions of this section, the shall pay to the the sum of three hundred dollars per year.
