This law is about liquor licenses in Missouri. A liquor license runs until June 30th of the following year, and a separate license is needed for each location where alcohol is sold. The license only covers the specific address listed on it. To renew a license, the paperwork must be turned in by May 1st each year. Turning it in late means paying extra fees — $100 more if filed in May, $200 more if filed in June, and $300 more if filed after June.
311.240. Period of — federal license required — contents of license — renewals. — 1. 4. Applications for renewal of licenses must be filed on or before the first day of May of each .
5. In case of failure to submit the completed renewal application required under 4 of this section on or before the first day of May, there shall be added to the amount of the renewal fee a late charge of one hundred dollars from the second day of May to the last day of May; a late charge of two hundred dollars if the renewal application is submitted on the first day of June to the last day of June; or a late charge of three hundred dollars if the renewal application is submitted after the last day of June.
