Possession of illegal or untaxed liquor prohibited

In plain English

In Missouri, a person cannot have alcohol that was made illegally. Also, a person cannot have more than five gallons of alcohol for sale or other purposes unless the proper fees and taxes have been paid on it. Some businesses like manufacturers, blenders, distillers, and wholesalers are allowed to store alcohol without paying those fees first, as long as they follow certain rules and pay when the alcohol is sold or moved out of approved storage.
