Fees paid into general revenue fund and division of alcohol and tobacco control fund
When people pay fees for alcohol and tobacco licenses and permits in Missouri, 70 percent of that money goes into a special fund for the division that oversees alcohol and tobacco. The other 30 percent, along with inspection and other fees, goes into the state's general money fund.
311.730. Fees paid into and . — 1. Except as otherwise provided under 2 of this section, all fees collected by the as provided for in this chapter, including licenses, inspection and , shall be paid into the , to the of the ordinary state revenue .
2. Seventy percent of all fees for licenses and permits collected under this chapter shall be paid to the credit of the division of alcohol and tobacco control fund established under section 311.735.
