Violation a misdemeanor
If someone breaks any of the rules in this chapter, and no other punishment is already spelled out for that rule, they can be found guilty of a misdemeanor. The punishment is a fine between $50 and $1,000, up to one year in the county jail, or both.
311.880. Violation a — . — Any person violating any of the of this chapter, except where some penalty is otherwise provided, shall upon thereof be of a misdemeanor and punished by a fine of not less than fifty dollars, nor more than one thousand dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for a term not exceeding one year, or by both such fine and jail sentence.
