Special permit for festivals
An out-of-state alcohol maker who does not have a Missouri license can get a special short-term permit to bring their alcohol to a festival or similar event in Missouri. The permit lasts no more than 72 hours. No more than 200 gallons of alcohol can be brought in under this permit. The alcohol maker fills out a form and pays a $25 fee to get the permit. A Missouri-licensed manufacturer running the event pays the taxes on that alcohol.
