Digital electronic equipment definition
This law explains what 'digital electronic equipment' means for this chapter. It means any product that works, at least partly, using digital electronics that are built into or connected to it. Cars, car parts makers, and car dealers are not included in this definition.
407.005. Digital electronic equipment definition. — As used in this chapter, unless the context clearly requires otherwise, the term "digital electronic equipment" shall mean any product that depends for its functioning, in whole or in part, on embedded in or attached to the product; provided however, that such term shall not include any motor vehicle , manufacturer of , or motor vehicle , or any product or of a motor vehicle manufacturer, manufacturer of motor vehicle equipment, or motor vehicle dealer acting in that capacity.
