Missouri law says that recreational vehicle (RV) makers and dealers must have a written agreement signed by both sides. The RV maker must give each dealer their own specific sales area and cannot add another dealer for the same brand in that area without a good reason and proof the market can support it. RV makers must sell to all competing dealers at the same prices, discounts, and deals. A maker cannot end a dealer's agreement without a good reason, and if a dealer wants to start selling a competing brand, the dealer must give existing makers at least 30 days written notice first.
407.1323. s and s, written agreement required, when — sales of RVs, conditions. — 1. All manufacturers and dealers doing business in this state must have a written agreement signed by both parties. This law shall any conflicting statutes in states where enacted.

Prior to the expiration of a , both parties shall enter into negotiations for renewal of the dealer agreement , and neither will require a substantial change in competitive circumstances. When taking on a competing manufacturer's lines, a dealer must notify existing manufacturers in writing, at least thirty days prior to entering into such an agreement, to sell the same type of recreational vehicle.
