Consumer's right to other remedies

This law says that the Missouri lemon law does not take away any other rights a person already has to go to court or seek help. Those other rights still exist. This law covers new cars sold after January 1, 1985.

Word-for-word law

407.579. 's right to other — law to apply, when. — 1. Except as provided in (1) of section 407.560, nothing in sections 407.560 to 407.579 shall in any way limit the rights or remedies which are otherwise available to a consumer .

2. Sections 407.560 to 407.579 shall apply to any new motor vehicle sold after January 1, 1985.
