Warranty repairs, labor cost compensation to dealer

When a car or boat dealer fixes something under a warranty, the company that made the vehicle has to pay the dealer a fair amount for the work. That payment has to be at least as much as what the dealer normally charges for non-warranty repair work.

407.583. repairs, labor cost to . — When a dealer makes repairs to any motor vehicle or any warranty , the dealer shall receive from the or giving the warranty, reasonable compensation for labor at a rate no less than that posted by the dealer for labor not under warranty.
