Law applicable to breach of new farm machinery warranties

In plain English

When someone buys new farm machinery, special state rules apply instead of the general sales laws. If the machinery has something wrong with it that breaks a written warranty, and the buyer reports the problem to the maker or its representative during the warranty period or within one year of getting the machinery (whichever comes first), the maker has to fix it. The maker still has to make those repairs even if the warranty or the one-year window has already ended by the time the repairs happen.
