Cancellation of membership
When someone joins a club, they have three business days to change their mind. They just need to send or hand-deliver a written note saying they want to cancel. If mailed, it counts the moment it goes in the mailbox. The club has to give back all the money paid within 14 days. A member still has to pay for anything they already used or received before canceling.
407.672. of membership. — 1. Any person who has elected to become a member of a club may cancel such membership by giving written notice any time before midnight of the third following the date on which membership was attained. Such cancellation shall be without on the part of the member and shall entitle the member to a refund of the entire paid for the contract.

Notice of cancellation need not take a particular form and is sufficient if it indicates, by any form of written expression, the intention of the member not to be bound by the contract. If delivered personally, the notice is to be accepted by any or employee of the club, and a receipt for the notice must be given by that agent or employee to the person cancelling.
3. The entitled refund shall be delivered to the member within fourteen days after notice of cancellation is given.
4. Rights of cancellation may not be or otherwise surrendered.
5. Cancellation shall not relieve the member from paying for any or services received prior to the date of cancellation.
