Home solicitation sale defined

A home solicitation sale is when someone sells goods or services to a buyer at the buyer's home, and the buyer agrees to buy right there at the home. This does not count if the sale is part of an existing charge account, or if both the buyer and seller already talked about the deal at a real store or business before the sale happened. Sales involving real estate or property tied to real estate are not included.

407.700. defined. — "Home solicitation sale" means a of goods, or services, except the sale of or interest therein, or the sale of which is incident to the sale of real property or interest therein, in which the or a person acting for him engages in a personal of the sale at a residence of the buyer and the buyer's agreement or offer to purchase is there given to the seller or a person acting for him. It does not include a sale made a preexisting , or a sale made pursuant to prior negotiations between both parties present at a business at a where goods or services are offered or exhibited for sale.
