Duties of seller after cancellation
When someone cancels a home solicitation sale, the seller has 10 days to give back any money paid and return any paperwork marked 'cancelled.' If the buyer traded in goods, the seller must return those goods in about the same condition. If the seller does not return traded-in goods properly, the buyer can instead ask for the trade-in value in money. Until the seller does all this, the buyer gets to keep any goods the seller delivered and has a legal claim on those goods.
