Action for damages and costs by retailer for violations

In plain English

If a manufacturer, wholesaler, or distributor breaks the rules set out in the related laws, a retailer can take them to court. The retailer can ask for money to cover losses caused by the violation, plus the cost of going to court and lawyer fees. The winning side may get those court costs and lawyer fees paid. This is not the only option a retailer has — other legal options are still available too.
