Division of liquor control to enforce underage tobacco sales
The division of liquor control, which is part of the department of public safety, is in charge of enforcing Missouri's underage tobacco laws. Every year starting in 2003, that division has to send a report to the state legislature explaining how well those laws are working to keep tobacco away from minors and what enforcement actions were taken.
407.924. to underage tobacco sales — submitted. — 1. The division of liquor control within the of public safety shall implement and enforce the of sections 407.925 to 407.934.
2. Beginning January 1, 2003, the division of liquor control shall submit an annual report to the on the effectiveness of sections 407.925 to 407.934 in reducing tobacco possession by minors and the activities by the for violations of sections 407.925 to 407.934.
