Minors employed by division of liquor control may purchase tobacco products, alternative nicotine products, or vapor products for enforcement purposes

In plain English

People under 18 are not allowed to buy, try to buy, or have cigarettes, tobacco, nicotine, or vaping products. There are two exceptions: if the minor works at a store selling those products as part of their job, or if the minor works for the state liquor control division to help catch rule-breakers. A minor also cannot lie about their age to buy these products. If a minor breaks this rule the first time, the products get taken away. If it happens again, the products get taken away and the minor has to complete a tobacco or quit-smoking class if one is available.
