Nonconformity of assistive device to be repaired at no cost
If a new assistive device (like a wheelchair or hearing aid) has something wrong with it that breaks the warranty, and the person reports the problem and brings the device in to be fixed within one year of getting it, the repair has to be done for free.
407.955. of to be repaired at no cost. — If a new assistive device does not to an applicable and the reports the nonconformity to the , the or any of the manufacturer's assistive device dealers and makes the assistive device available for repair before one year after of the assistive device to a consumer, the nonconformity shall be repaired at no charge to the consumer.
