Rents dependent on life of another, how recovered when unpaid

If someone is owed rent that depends on another person being alive, and that person dies with rent still unpaid, the person owed the rent can still go to court to collect the unpaid amount — just as if that person were still alive.

441.180. Rents on life of another, how recovered when unpaid. — Every person entitled to any rents, dependent upon the life of any other, may, the death of such other person, have the same , by , for the recovery of all of such rents as are due and unpaid at the death of such other person, as he might have if such other person were in full life.
