Certificate of marriage to be given
Anyone who performs a wedding must give the married couple a certificate. This certificate shows the names and home addresses of both people, the wedding date, and which county gave out the marriage license and when. This certificate counts as basic proof of those facts in Missouri courts.
451.110. to be given. — Every person under this chapter shall and to the parties to such marriage a thereof, which shall be furnished in blank by the officer who issues such , setting forth the names and residence of the parties and the date of such marriage, and the county from which the license was issued and the date of same; and such certificates shall be of the facts therein stated in all courts of this state.
