Names of children born before marriage shall be recorded
When two people get married and they already have kids together from before the wedding, they can give the names of those kids to the person performing the ceremony. That person is required to write down those children's names along with the marriage record.
451.160. Names of children born before marriage shall be . — The of children who were born before the ceremony of marriage is performed, as provided by this chapter, may, at the time of of said marriage, give to the officer the names of their children then living, or the of such as may be dead; and it shall be the duty of such officer to such names with his .
