Lost record of marriage supplied, how

In plain English

If a county's marriage record gets lost or destroyed, the minister or official who performed the wedding can fix this. They do it by turning in a written certificate to the county recorder's office. That certificate needs to include the names of the people who got married, the date of the wedding, and the county where it took place.
